POCATELLO — Three people were taken to the hospital following a two-vehicle crash on Yellowstone Ave. Thursday afternoon. Another person went to the hospital in a private vehicle.

According to a Journal photographer at the scene, an older Dodge vehicle was traveling north on Yellowstone Ave. in the area of the Phil Meador Subaru auto dealership. When the driver slowed for traffic the vehicle was rear-ended by a white passenger car.

Three people in the Dodge, an adult and two juveniles, were transported by ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center with unknown injuries. The driver was not transported. One person in the white passenger car, a juvenile who was sitting in the front seat, was reportedly not wearing a seat belt and struck the windshield. She was taken to the hospital by private vehicle. She was cited for not wearing a seatbelt.

The driver of the white passenger car was cited for following too closely.
