The U.S. Geologic Service reported a 3.7 magnitude quake in Yellowstone National Park shortly before 4 p.m. Wednesday.

    It happened at 3:52 p.m. 12 miles northeast of West Yellowstone and about 28 miles northeast of Island Park.

    No damage was reported.

    According to the USGS, earthquakes measuring 3.0 to 3.9 are often felt, but rarely cause damage. An estimated 130,000 of that magnitude happen every year.
