POCATELLO - Police Capt. Steve Findley remains on paid suspension a month after he was initially removed from duty.

City Attorney Kirk Bybee said Thursday there have been no changes to Findley's status and declined further comment.

Findley, a 30-year veteran of the Pocatello Police Department, was suspended in late January for unspecified reasons. He has served as detective division supervisor for two years.

City Councilman Brian Underwood, who previously said he intended to meet with Mayor Roger Chase to have questions answered about the suspension, could not be reached for comment Thursday.
