LAVA HOT SPRINGS - The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality has received a request from Northwest Pipeline to modify its air quality permit regulating natural gas emissions from its compressor turbine station in Lava Hot Springs.
The modification will allow Northwest to increase emission rates within acceptable limits for its three turbines.
The public comment period will be provided if a written request is submitted to DEQ by 5 p.m. Nov. 28. Submit requests and questions can be made to Faye Weber, Air Quality Division, DEQ State Office, 1410 N. Hilton, Boise, Idaho 83706, e-mail faye.weber@deq.idaho.gov.
The permit application can be reviewed at www.deq.idaho.gov/public/comment.cfm.
