BLACKFOOT - A local man was charged with one count of aggravated battery last week after allegedly stabbing one friend and then cutting another.

Blackfoot Police Sgt. Buddy Fowler said that 24-year-old Marcos Barboza was at a residence on the 500 block of Stout Street in Blackfoot where two men, who are brothers, were in the midst of an altercation shortly before 11 p.m. on Thursday.

That's when police said Barboza grabbed a knife, and stabbed one of the brothers in the back and cut the other on the forearm.
