SHELLEY - Rocky Mountain Power has teamed up with Southeastern Idaho Community Action Agency and Eastern Idaho Community Action Partnership to provide a way for customers to help others in need through the Lend-a-Hand program.

Lend-a-Hand donation envelopes will be included with November electricity bills. Donations from the utility, its customers and employees are used to help low-income households in the region meet their energy needs, primarily during winter.

Funds raised through the donations are distributed by SEICAA and EICAP to those who need assistance.

Donations will be accepted in November, February and June through the utility bills. Rocky Mountain Power also can add a fixed monthly Lend-a-Hand donation to their electric bill, if they wish. To enroll in this program, call 1-888-221-7070.
