CHUBBUCK - Police are asking for the public's assistance to locate a Pocatello man charged with attempted strangulation.

Christopher Neal Nichols, 21, is described as 5 feet, 6 inches, with brown hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo on his neck which reads "Sureno."

The charge against Nichols stems from an alleged incident in Chubbuck on Dec. 17. Nichols bond is currently set at $75,000.

The man's last known address was the 1000 block of McKinley Avenue in Pocatello. Police warn that anyone spotting Nichols should not attempt to contact him, but should notify local law enforcement.
