CHUBBUCK - A spate of vehicle break-ins Saturday evening kept Chubbuck Police busy.

Lt. Bill Guiberson said 11 break-ins were reported in different areas, indicating the perpetrators were likely traveling in their own vehicle.

Vehicles on Circle Inn Drive, Independence Avenue, Canal Street, Eagle Road and Chickadee Drive were reportedly broken into.

"To have 11 (break-ins) in one night, it was more than likely the same individuals," Lt. Bill Guiberson said. "Unfortunately, they're just driving around neighborhoods, checking on door handles. That's the frustrating thing for us as law enforcement. It's easily prevented just by locking your car doors."

Guiberson said the thefts are under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Chubbuck Police at 237-7172.
