TWIN FALLS - The 2009 University of Idaho Snake River Sugarbeet conference will be Jan. 8 and 9 in Twin Falls. Major topics include the future of biotechnology in the industry and future of the sugarbeet industry.

The conference begins Jan. 8 at 1:45 p.m. at Canyon Crest Event Center, 330 Canyon Crest Drive in Twin Falls. Registration is 8 a.m. Jan. 9 at the College of Southern Idaho's Fine Arts auditorium. The conference ends Jan. 9 at 5 p.m. and it is free.
