POCATELLO - Ambulances transported at least two people to Portneuf Medical Center Friday after two cars crashed on the southbound side of Interstate 15 south of Pocatello at about 6:30 p.m., according to and Idaho State Police dispatcher.

Troopers with the Idaho State Police did not return calls asking for further details on the accident. The number of victims and each person's condition were unknown as of press time Friday.
