SNOW TO BE REMOVED IN DOWNTOWN JANUARY 1, 2009

Cooperative Effort by City and Old Town

In a cooperative effort between Old Town Pocatello, Inc. and the City of Pocatello, snow will be removed from several downtown streets beginning January 1, 2009 at 9:00 p.m.

Old Town Pocatello, Inc. has hired a private contractor to remove the snow from the following streets: Union Pacific Avenue, Main Street, Arthur Avenue from West Whitman Street to West Wyeth Street, as well as West Center Street from Union Pacific Avenue to Arthur Avenue. The contractor is expected to work for up to eight hours beginning at 9:00 p.m. January 1 to no later than 5:00 a.m. January 2.

The City is encouraging residents and business patrons to move their vehicles from these streets during this time.
