Idaho State has added 6-foot-7 forward Matija Ilic for the 2018-19 season, an ISU spokesperson confirmed Monday.

Ilic hails from Utah's Wasatch Academy — the same program that produced former three-year Bengals starter Geno Luzcando.

Ilic averaged 3.5 points and 1 rebound per game last season for a team that produced four Division I players in the 2018 graduating class, according to Deseret News. Ilic scored a season-high 14 points Feb. 1 against Summit Academy and pulled down a season-high six rebounds Jan. 6 against Canyon View.

Ilic adds to ISU's offseason additions that also include Kelvin Jones (6-foot-11), Chier Maker (6-7), Alonzo Walker (6-6), Chidi Udengwu (6-7) and Austin Smellie (6-4). Anticipated newcomers Kevin Legardy and Brayden Parker are attending College of Southern Idaho for academic reasons before joining the Bengals.

Idaho State opens the 2018-19 season Nov. 6 at Gonzaga.
