Rockland 47, Leadore 33

ROCKLAND - The Rockland girls' basketball team held Leadore to just 10 first-half points in a 47-33 home win Saturday.

"Overall the kids did a good job defensively," Rockland coach Vern Nelson said.

Whitney Woodworth led all scorers with 23 points and also dished out six assists. Kambrie Munk and Amanda Spillett each collected 10 rebounds, while Munk also blocked five shots.

Rockland (5-5, 1-1 1A Fifth District) next hosts Malad on Jan. 9.
