American Falls 49, N. Fremont 0

AMERICAN FALLS - Behind a bruising offensive line, three American Falls running backs broke the 100-yard mark and helped the Beavers pound 2A North Fremont, 49-0, on Friday in American Falls' homecoming game.

Camilo Carretero ran for a team-high 171 yards, Jordan Flores added 164 and Paden Johnson chipped in another 135 for the 3A Beavers (3-1), who won for the third week in a row.

"I'm really proud of our defense," said American Falls coach Jess Johnson. "The problem had been we just couldn't put points on the board. But the defense has always been really stingy."

Senior lineman Camron Skaar helped plow the way for the three Beavers seniors.

"He had been sick all night," Johnson said of Skaar. "He gutted it out and gave us a great effort."

The Beavers have a bye before they visit 4A Century (2-2) on Oct. 2.
