CHUBBUCK — Health West will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony at its newly remodeled Chubbuck clinic that now features an on-site pharmacy.

According to a news release from Health West, the event will start at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday at 880 West Quinn Road. It will include speakers before the ribbon cutting and tours of the facility will be given afterwards. Refreshments will be provided.

Health West added the pharmacy to its clinic to make it easier for patients to get their prescriptions at their doctor’s office. The clinic has always worked with local pharmacies to make prescriptions more affordable.

The new pharmacy will allow more collaboration between the doctor and the pharmacist to decide which prescriptions are best for patients and to help patients know how best to use their prescriptions.
