With the FCS football playoffs starting up Sunday and the regular season in the books, the Big Sky announced Wednesday its annual all-conference teams for the 2025 season.

For Idaho State, which finished 5-3 in the league and ended the year winning four straight, a total of 11 players were selected. But only two of them — offensive lineman Stryker Rashid and kicker Trajan Sinatra — were named to the first team.

Bengal head coach Cody Hawkins was asked to give his thoughts on the teams and the voting results, and his reaction was mixed.

“We got a lot of guys honored,” he said. “And I appreciate that, but we’re not satisfied. I feel we should have gotten a few more honored. Our offensive line only allowed three or four sacks all year and I think we should have had more of them on the teams. You look at a guy like Ryan Leathers — he had more tackles than anybody in the secondary, but he wasn’t voted first team.”

Of the remaining nine Bengal players, Dason Brooks, Tsion Nunnally, Cam’ron Willis, Leathers and Gabe Russo were named to the second team, with Jordan Cooke, Michael Sulikov, Damien Morgan and Nathan Reynolds receiving honorable mention selections.

Montana led the way in all-conference honors, picking up 18 selections, and Montana State was a close second behind the Griz with 16 honorees.

Among the award winners was Century alum Titan Fleishmann. The Montana State offensive lineman was a first-team selection.

Montana’s Ed Gillman, who led the league in rushing yards per game (105) and rushing touchdowns (17), joined Seattle Seahawks’ Cooper Kupp as the only Big Sky players to have won both the freshman of the year and offensive player of the year honors during their careers.

“There’s lots of good players in this league,” Hawkins said. “So I’m going to tell our guys, ‘Let’s win the thing next year and get more recognition.’”
