LONDON (AP) — England's cricket authorities are investigating a reported nightclub incident involving fast bowler Brydon Carse, who is in the test squad for an upcoming match against Pakistan.

Videos circulating on social media on Sunday appeared to show Carse in handcuffs and being led away from a club by police officers.

It came after his team, Durham, beat Derbyshire in the County Championship.

The footage reportedly was from outside a nightclub in the East Midlands city of Derby on Saturday.

“We are aware of an incident which is reported to have taken place in Derby last night," the England and Wales Cricket Board said in a statement Sunday, "and are currently investigating.

"We will provide a further update when possible.”

Carse hasn't yet been removed from the England squad for the second test starting Thursday at Lord's.

English cricket was left reeling from a nightclub incident in June involving then-test captain Ben Stokes and bowler Gus Atkinson that led to them being dropped from a match against New Zealand.

Stokes later returned to the team before announcing his retirement.
