    Jesse Sorenson scored 16 points to the Malad high school girls basketball team to a 54-50 win over Grace Wednesday.

    The Dragons led by three heading into the fourth quarter but Megan Brown scored six of her eight points in the fourth to give the Dragons the win.   

    “Grace played hard and kept things close,” Malad head coach Bob Sorenson said. “There were a few more turnovers tonight than we normally make and we have to stop making those.”   

    Malad (3-1) hosts Firth on Tuesday.
