Former Idaho State football players Zak Johnson, Skyler Phillips and JonRyheem Peoples have been recognized by the National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society for maintaining a cumulative 3.2 GPA throughout their college careers, announced by the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame.

The three ISU players were among the 26 from the Big Sky Conference to earn the honor.

The members of the honor society are comprised of college football players from all divisions of play. An all-time high 1,251 players from a record-tying 302 schools qualified for membership in the society’s 12th year. Players are nominated by their institutions.
