Highland and Snake River retained their spots atop the high school football media poll released Tuesday.

The Rams (1-0) received six first-place votes and edged Rocky Mountain by two points. Highland defeated Utah’s American Fork in the Rocky Mountain Rumble on Saturday.

Snake River (1-0) handled South Fremont and garnered nine first-place votes in 3A.

In 2A, West Side (1-0) took over the top spot after defeating Firth. Previously top-ranked Declo lost to Sugar-Salem.

Blackfoot (0-1) and Rigby (1-0) finished tied for fourth in the 4A poll with 15 points. The Broncos lost to Hillcrest and the Trojans took down Century.

Aberdeen (1-0) finished four points behind West Side at No. 2 in the 2A poll. The Tigers defeated American Falls in Week 1. Bear Lake (1-0) earned five points after defeating Cokeville, Wyoming.

Grace (0-1) garnered one fifth-place vote in 1ADI.
