Soda Springs 63, Aberdeen 30

SODA SPRINGS - The Soda Springs girls' bsaketball team didn't face much resistance from Aberdeen in its 63-30 home win Friday.

The Cardinals led 23-7 after one quarter and 46-15 at the half.

"We were just able to maintain that throughout the game," Soda Springs coach Wade Schvaneveldt said. "They just played good defense, and we were able to knock down shots when they were presented."

Madie Kimball scored 16 points to lead three Cardinals scorers in double figures, while Cassidy Wynn scored six points to pace Aberdeen.

Soda Springs (17-0, 5-0 2A Fifth District) next hosts West Side on Jan. 22.
