MORELAND - Lindsey Van Orden hit a jumper from the free-throw line with 10 seconds left to give the Snake River girls a 46-44 win over Salmon on Saturday night.

Playing their first game in 15 days, the Panthers held a six- to eight-point lead throughout the second half before the Savages employed a halfcourt trap to force a few turnovers and pull even.

With the score tied 44-44, Snake River went inside to Eden Van Orden - who scored 15 points and grabbed 15 rebounds. When Salmon doubled down on her, she kicked it out to Lindsay Van Orden for the game-winner.

To go along with Eden Van Orden's double-double, Erica Christensen added 10 points for the Panthers (7-4), who open 3A Fifth District play at American Falls on Wednesday.
