Thirty-two varsity volleyball teams head to Pocatello this weekend for the 2018 Highland Peg Peterson Varsity Volleyball Invitational.
The tournament will be held at Highland High School’s main and auxiliary gyms, as well as the nearby Mountain View Event Center. The event begins Friday at 3 p.m. with pool play and concludes Saturday afternoon.
The area’s participating teams include Highland, Pocatello, Blackfoot, Preston, Marsh Valley, Snake River, Bear Lake, Malad and West Side. Also participating are District 6 squads Madison, Thunder Ridge, Rigby, Bonneville, Shelley, Sugar-Salem and South Fremont.
Tickets are $6 per day for adults and $5 per day for students with an activity card. Children ages 6-12 are $3 per day.
