Pocatello 63, Rigby 15; Blackfoot 38, Pocatello 33

RIGBY - The Pocatello wrestling team split a pair of duals Wednesday, beating host Rigby 63-15 and losing 38-33 to 4A state champion Blackfoot.

The Indians dropped two forfeits in each dual. Pocatello won 11 of the 12 remaining duals against Rigby. Pocatello split its seven matches against Blackfoot.

Pocatello coach Todd Praska praised Dylan Brigham for winning both his matches by pinfall. He spent less than a minute on the mat in the two wins combined. Praska also said middleweights Chris Beall, Sean McClellan and Dillon Rice are showing signs of vast improvement.

"Those three are wrestling a whole lot better," Praska said. "They're going to be helping us out at districts."

That takes place Feb. 18 at Preston.
