I am writing this letter of support for Rep. Dustin Manwaring in his bid to represent District 29 in the Idaho House of Representatives. Rep. Manwaring is completing his first two-year term, having been elected in November 2016. I have worked closely with him during the past two years, and I am happy to endorse him for re-election.

Rep. Manwaring has been serving on three legislative committees, the State Affairs Committee, the Business Committee and the Local Government Committee. He has displayed common sense in dealing with complex issues that come before him, both in his committee work and in his district. Because he is not afraid to devote himself to learning all he can about an issue, I know Rep. Manwaring deals with difficult legislative issues from a position of knowledge, prudence, and good judgment.

Rep. Manwaring is intelligent and independent, thoughtfully evaluating legislation on his own rather than being swayed by others. He is analytical and deliberative, qualities he has no doubt developed in his profession as an attorney. His quiet, professional demeanor suggests confidence and the ability to work collaboratively with his fellow legislators. I feel certain that, as he gains experience, Rep. Manwaring will be an increasingly effective legislator.

I encourage you to re-elect Rep. Dustin Manwaring as your representative from District 29. He has served his constituents, and the state of Idaho, with dedication and distinction, and I fully expect that he will continue to do so in the future. I endorse him without reservation.
