The scene of Tuesday afternoon’s two-vehicle crash at the intersection of West Alameda and Pole Line roads in north Pocatello.

POCATELLO — A woman was rushed to Portneuf Medical Center following a two-vehicle crash at a busy north Pocatello intersection.

The collision involving a Chrysler PT Cruiser and Dodge Challenger occurred around 3:10 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of West Alameda and Pole Line roads.

The woman injured in the crash was the driver of one of the vehicles, police said. She was transported via Pocatello Fire Department ambulance to PMC for treatment and is expected to survive, police said.

Her name hasn’t been released.

The crash left both vehicles totaled and temporarily shut down the intersection.

Details on how the collision occurred haven’t been released.

The wreck remains under investigation by Pocatello police.
