POCATELLO — The Southeast Idaho chapter of Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation will offer works by local artists Hayden and Dallen Lambson during its annual banquet and auction.

Doors will open at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Shoshone-Bannock Events Center. Tickets will be sold through midnight Thursday. Register online at events.rmef.org/shop/southeastidaho or call 219-877-8075.

The artists have donated original canvases and giclée prints for the auction to raise funds for elk and wildlife habitat conservation. The Lambson’s art work is nationally recognized, with Hayden Lambson being selected as artist of the year by Whitetails Unlimited, North American Wild Sheep and the Minnesota Deer Hunters Association, as well as artist of the quarter for the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. Dallen Lambson has been selected as artist of the year by both the Mule Deer Foundation and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.

Also featured will be a steel sculpture by local fabricators, Partner Steel.

Partner Steel has crafted and donated an American flag sculpture cut out of steel with the stars and stripes flame-burnished on the surface. A Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation logo is also mounted on the sculpture. The event will also include prizes, a raffle and a buffet dinner.
