BLACKFOOT — Idaho State Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that injured a Rexburg man Wednesday morning on Interstate 15 near Blackfoot.

The crash occurred around 10:24 a.m. at milepost 88, according to a state police news release. A 69-year-old man driving a GMC Terrain southbound on I-15 drove off the right shoulder and collided with an impact attenuator post. He was wearing his seatbelt, police said.

The Fort Hall Fire Department assisted Idaho State Police at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
