The city of Logan features majestic mountains, a bustling cultural scene and Utah State University.

And now this northern Utah community is home to another landmark as residents and students with a Chicken Finger craving can head to the newest Raising Cane’s, which opened in Logan on Tuesday, Dec. 12.

Located at 1165 N. Main St., less than a mile from Utah State’s main campus, the new Cane’s features a double Drive-Thru to efficiently serve Cane’s Chicken Fingers, freshly squeezed lemonade, buttery Texas toast and, of course, its signature Cane’s sauce. Hungry Customers can also enjoy their meal in a large dining room with unique, floor-to-ceiling glass walls featuring local art and Utah State Aggies’ memorabilia. In addition to dine-in and take-out options, customers in a rush can order online or via the Cane’s mobile app for order ahead and quick and easy pick-up.

In honor of opening day, Raising Cane’s hosted a variety of activities for the community, including:

A “Lucky 20” drawing that awarded 20 customers, age 13 and older, with free Cane’s for a year.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday with Logan city officials and representatives from the Cache Valley Chamber of Commerce.

The first 100 customers who purchased a Box Combo will receive a unique commemorative T-shirt and a free Box Combo on their next visit.

Free hot chocolate was available courtesy of Cane’s from The Cocoa Camper — voted “Utah’s Best Hot Chocolate” — and was served to everyone in line between 8 and 10 a.m. Tuesday.

A $1,000 check was presented to Little Lambs Foundation for Kids, whose mission is to uplift struggling families and foster youth by providing necessary items that no child should have to go without.

“Our Crew can’t wait to welcome Logan residents and Utah State students and faculty into our beautiful new Restaurant,” said John Tellez, restaurant leader for Raising Cane’s. “Every Customer will see the Aggie pride on our walls when they come in to enjoy our ONE LOVE with family and friends!”

This is the ninth Raising Cane’s Restaurant in the Beehive State. Operating hours are 10 a.m. to midnight Sunday to Thursday and 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday. The new restaurant is bringing more than 90 new jobs to the area.
