POCATELLO - As gas prices climb into the stratosphere, public and private carriers are stepping up efforts to entice passengers by adding new routes.

Pocatello Regional Transit Manager Ron Binggeli is looking into adding rural routes and possibly four express routes within the city in response to demand from riders and businesses.
