ARCO — A 65-year-old Pocatello man died Saturday after losing control of his motorcycle on U.S. Highway 93 near Craters of the Moon National Monument, Idaho State Police said.
The crash occurred at 11:58 a.m. south of Arco in Butte County.
According to state police, the man was traveling southbound on Highway 93 on a 2022 Harley-Davidson when he lost control, left the roadway and came to rest in the lava rocks along the road.
The man, whose name hasn't been released, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was wearing a helmet, state police said.
The crash remains under investigation by Idaho State Police.
