POCATELLO — The City of Pocatello Street Operations Department will begin a shouldering, milling and paving project on Cahina Way, from Country Club to the dead end. Access and parking will be restricted in the area beginning at 7:00 a.m. Monday, September 10. Crews will work each day from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Traffic will be detoured and flaggers will be on site to direct traffic in the construction area. Motorists should expect delays and are strongly advised to use alternate routes when possible to avoid travel in the area.

Residents should not park vehicles on the street during the construction. Vehicles should be parked either in driveways or out of the construction area, as access to that area will not be allowed. Vehicles parked on the street will be towed.

The public’s understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated. In the event of bad weather or unforeseen problems, the schedule may need to be changed slightly. Crews will finish the work as quickly as possible.
