IDAHO FALLS — Idaho State Police arrested four people last week for trafficking meth and other drugs.

Victor Alfonso Carranza-Martinez, 29, Francisco Jesus Rodriguez-Martinez, 21, and Jose Rodriguez-Martinez, 20, were arrested after a search warrant was conducted at their residence on the 200 block of South Fanning Way in Idaho Falls at 2:54 p.m., according to a probable-cause affidavit.

The three had 3.5 pounds of methamphetamine at the residence. Police also found 103.7 grams of cocaine and 345.1 grams of marijuana. Idaho State Police were assisted by the Idaho Falls Police Department, Drug Enforcement Administration and Department of Homeland Security.

A separate search was conducted earlier that day at a home belonging to 57-year-old Darren Fullmer on the 1800 block of Hollipark Drive.

Police found 1.6 pounds of meth in Fullmer’s home. Another brown substance was found, but it did not test positively for drugs. Both the meth and the brown substance were sent to the Idaho State Police Forensic Laboratory.

The Idaho State Police District 6 Investigations Office did not answer when called for comment. The probable-cause affidavits did not indicate if the cases were related.

Two other men, Ryan Stevens and Manuel Larios, were arrested Aug. 3 and Aug. 4, respectively, with amounts of meth similar to that found in Fullmer’s residence.

The six defendants combined had just under 9 pounds of meth between them.

All four defendants arrested last week have been charged for trafficking in 400 grams or more of methamphetamine, punishable with a minimum of 10 years in prison and up to a life sentence. They were all arraigned Thursday.

Jose Rodriguez-Martinez and Carranza-Martinez were given bonds of $150,000. Fullmer’s bond was set at $250,000. Francisco Rodriguez-Martinez was given a $300,000 bond.

All four defendants have preliminary hearings scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Aug. 29 at Bonneville County Courthouse.
