Motor City closes up shop

B.A. Wackerli Co. announced Friday that it will close subsidiaries Motor City Auto Sales in Pocatello, American RV and Marine in Idaho Falls and Blackfoot Motor Co., slashing up to 33 jobs.

Wackerli, based in Idaho Falls, attributes the shutdowns to poor economic conditions and is closing the lots to consolidate inventory and cut operating costs.

became necessary," said Wackerli owner Steve Wackerli.
