LAVA HOT SPRINGS — A brand new community tradition will arrive later in May with a farmers and artisan market featuring local vendors, food trucks and live music in the heart of Lava Hot Springs.

The new market will operate from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday and features a curated mix of local growers, artisans, creators, food trucks and specialty vendors. Fresh produce, baked goods, handcrafted art and unique gifts will all highlight the creativity and talent within the region.

The Lava Farmers Market & Artisan Market will officially launch on May 23, providing a new weekly gathering place for residents and visitors in Southeast Idaho to shop local, enjoy high quality fresh food and experience live entertainment.

The market will be partnering with Lava Flow Live Concerts, an outdoor concert series established during the summer of 2025. Full concert performances will take place from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Saturday evenings with select performers taking the stage during the daytime market hours to provide an atmospheric environment for shoppers to enjoy.

“This collaboration brings a full day of community connection to Lava—local commerce by day, live music under the stars by night,” organizers said. “The creation of the Lava Farmers Market & Artisan Market reflects a growing desire for more local events, more opportunities for small businesses, and more ways for the community to gather.”

Organizers of the annual market said they are expecting it to become a cornerstone of Lava’s summer weekends — supporting local entrepreneurs while offering residents and visitors a vibrant, family‑friendly experience.
