Zoo Zoo cats

    POCATELLO — From penguins playing musical chairs to a cat trapped in a giant paper bag to hippos with insomnia, the antics presented in Imago Theatre’s “ZooZoo” are sure to entertain audiences from age 4 to 104.

    The show is the next in the Idaho State University Season of Note concert series and will be presented in the Jensen Grand Concert Hall of the Stephens Performing Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, January 18.

    ZooZoo is a series of shorts acts involving animals or other creatures with masks or body-sized puppets. The show combines mime, dance, music and special effects and features creatures such as polar bears, anteaters, frogs, rabbits, hippos and penguins taking on human characteristics. The show is recommended for ages 4 and older.

    Adult ticket prices for the show are $28 for the lower level and $24 for the upper level, and seating for children ages 4 to 12 are $16 for the lower level and $12 for the upper level.

    Tickets can be purchased at the Stephens Performing Arts Center Box Office, open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. during the school year.
