More than 2,000 people are expected to take part in Idaho Falls Pride events Saturday.

The Idaho Falls Pride Parade begins at 10 a.m. in the Unitarian Universalist Church parking lot at 555 East St. before making its way around the Greenbelt to the Idaho Falls Pride Festival that goes until 5 p.m. at the Greenbelt Bandshell on Memorial Drive.

The free festival features live music, performances, vendors, community organizations and activities for families.

The Idaho Falls Pride Board of Directors is committed to ensuring a safe Pride celebration for all attendees. All Pride events and space have implemented safety guidelines and a Community Code of Conduct to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

A first aid tent will be available at the festival staffed by Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

In a statement on the Idaho Falls Pride website, organizers said this year’s theme focuses on belonging.

“This Pride, we honor the truth that our strength grows from diversity — from the many roots that ground us, shape us and carry us forward.

“We celebrate every story, every shade, every identity. We uplift people of color, whose voices and histories are essential to the foundation of Pride. We stand firmly with our trans community — your existence is powerful, your rights are human rights, and your joy matters.

“Whether you define yourself by a label, many labels or none at all — you belong. Pride is not about fitting into a single box; it’s about breaking them open and living freely, authentically, and boldly.

“From every background, every journey, every truth — we come together as one vibrant rainbow.

“Many roots. One community. One Pride.”

Organizers said the events are designed to bring people together while providing opportunities for education, celebration and connection throughout Pride Month.

The Elks Lodge at 640 E. Elva St. is hosting the sold-out 2026 Idaho Falls Pride 18+ Drag Show at 8 p.m. Friday. The headliner is Mirage, a former contestant from season 16 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race.”

Mirage will also perform Saturday in the Heart Event Center for Neon Pride at 755 S. Capital Ave. in Idaho Falls. VIP doors open at 8 p.m. and general admission at 9 p.m. Mirage will then appear at a Pride Closing Drag Brunch at 11:30 a.m. Sunday at the Heart.
