POCATELLO - Julie Brown believes many local parents are simply uneasy about having their children attend middle school a year early.
Brown, who is one of two sixth-grade teachers at Tendoy Elementary School, doesn't fault the parents for feeling that way. The schools are larger, and there are many more students, two factors that she believes can initially seem intimidating for elementary-age children.
