CHUBBUCK — Emergency units responded Friday afternoon to an individual who died from a gunshot wound along Yellowstone Avenue in Chubbuck. 

The death was reported to authorities at approximately 2 p.m. The Chubbuck Police Department, Idaho State Police and Bannock County Coroner's Office have responded to the scene.

The Journal has received unconfirmed reports that the shooting victim is an adult and the incident occurred inside a residence. Authorities have not yet released any additional details about the shooting.
