MONTPELIER — The Culpepper and Merriweather Circus is coming to Montpelier on July 9 at the Bear Lake County Fairgrounds, 23200 Highway 30 with two scheduled performances at 5 and 7:30 p.m.

    The rising of the Big Top will be between 9:30 and 10 a.m., the public is invited to come watch and then stay for the free tour.

    Acts will include Miss Simone and her single trapeze, Miss Paulina’s “Big & Little” prancing ponies, The Arlise Troupe on their unicycles and the Wheel of Destiny and Tight Rope by the Los Moralitos.

    Advance tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for children. They can be purchased at Bear Lake Car Care, The News Examiner, US Bank and Ireland Bank.
