BRUNEAU — Idaho State Police are investigating a vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 11:55 a.m. Monday near milepost 64 on State Highway 51 in Owyhee County.

A 63-year-old male of Boise was driving a 2026 Ford Explorer southbound. A juvenile was driving a Honda ATV and struck the Ford Explorer. The ATV came to rest in the northbound lanes of State Highway 51.

The juvenile was not wearing a helmet and was transported to an area hospital via air ambulance.

All lanes of travel were blocked for approximately 2 hours.

The incident remains under investigation by Idaho State Police.
