POCATELLO - Local restaurant owners worry that proposed legislation, if passed, will force them to raise food prices.
Currently a bill to increase the beer and wine tax by more than 300 percent is being discussed by the state Legislature. Coincidentally, the seven Idaho health districts have recently asked for the Legislature's approval to increase the current $65 yearly inspection fee to $200.
