POCATELLO - Even if District 25 sports programs survive budget cuts, the high schools might not play football games at Holt Arena next season because renting the facility is too expensive, Superintendent Mary Vagner announced Friday.

All extracurricular activities are on the chopping block as a result of increasing budget shortfalls that include Tuesday's failed $7.5 million supplemental levy and state funding holdbacks that could total as much as 10 percent for the next school year.
