MALAD -Republican challenger Larry Etherington unseated incumbent Dallan Nalder by 15 votes in the District 2 County Commission race.

No Democrats filed to run against Etherington in the November election. Tuesday, Etherington received a total of 701 votes.

In addition, Sheriff Jeff Semrad beat three Republican challengers, garnering 54 percent of the votes cast Tuesday. Duston Cheney received 35 votes and Ceyton Reeder got 614 votes in that primary race.
