AMERICAN FALLS - A Burley man suspected of robbing the U.S. Bank in June entered pleas of not guilty Thursday morning to counts of robbery, assault, burglary, theft, discharge of a firearm and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
Armando Mason, 30, is alleged to have entered the American Falls branch on June 16 with an accomplice. A handgun was discharged into the floor during the incident.
Mason surrendered without prompting in August to a bicycle officer in Kelso, Wash.
Mason was sentenced last week in Cassia County for robbing a U.S. Bank branch in Burley, receiving a 15-year fixed, 15-year indeterminate sentence.
