The Idaho State Journal wants to hear from its American Falls readers.

The newspaper's editor, some staffers and columnists will be at the American Falls Library on Wednesday, Sept. 30, to host a gathering open to all local residents. The free event is meant to be a forum for Journal readers to request story ideas and make suggestions on the newspaper's coverage.

The meeting will start at 6 p.m. at the library, 308 Roosevelt St., and run until 7:30 p.m.

Refreshments will be served at the meeting, during which readers can mingle with Journal personalities such as Editor Ian H. Fennell, Sports Editor Tim Flagstad and columnists Craig Bosley and Mike O'Donnell.

Fennell encourages residents of all ages to attend.

"This will be a great event for everyone-subscribers, non-subscribers and even students thinking about careers in journalism," he said. "If you have any questions about the paper or its coverage, or even have a story you'd really like us to cover, come on down to the American Falls Library and let us know about it."
