POCATELLO - Personnel cuts may be inevitable at Idaho State University due to state budget holdbacks, but top campus administrators vowed Thursday to give significantly more notice than required about pink slips and to help those who lose their jobs find new work.
Classified staff, for example, must be given a minimum of two weeks' notice about layoffs. The ISU administration plans to give them two, and perhaps three, months' notice about job cuts.
