POCATELLO - The Pocatello Ski Association Youth program elected to use the Larry Hegman Memorial Scholarship Fund to promote youth skiing in Pocatello.

This year the funds will be used to two youth skiers from each high school who would otherwise be unable to afford the ski trips to Grand Targhee, Snow Basin, Jackson and Beaver Mountain ski areas. Selection is aided by the school administrations of each high school.

The scholarship provides bus transportation to the ski areas, lift ticket and ski lesson.

PSA, in partnership with Barrie's Ski and Sports and Scott's Ski and Sports, will provide the necessary ski equipment for free.
