Rusty Evans to Give Free Guitar Friday Night

Some lucky person will go home with a brand new Ibanez acoustic guitar Friday night at the Blackfoot Performing Arts Center, compliments of Rusty Evans and the Ring of Fire. Evans and his band, which will be performing the music of Johnny Cash, are donating an Ibanez IJV50 JamPack Dreadnought Acoustic Quick Start guitar. The guitar features a spruce wood top which attributes to its fantastic tone. The guitar package also includes an accurate electronic tuner, gig bag, guitar strap, and accessory pouch. Evans will choose a ticket with the seat number of the lucky recipient in the audience during the concert. The winner will go home with an autographed guitar package worth several hundred dollars.

The Rusty Evans and Ring of Fire concert is Friday, January 16, at 7:30 pm. It is the third concert in the Performing Arts Center 2008-2009 concert series. All country music lovers are encouraged to attend this concert and relive the music of a legendary country music icon.

Tickets for the concert are available at Tweedy's Music or by calling BPAC at 317-5508. The tickets are $25.00 for adults and $20.00 for sr. citizens and students. They can also be purchased the evening of the concert. All seats are reserved.
