BLACKFOOT - Law enforcement officials have yet to determine the cause behind a ruptured gas tank that led to a series of explosions in an occupied trailer home Thursday afternoon.

The explosions after 3 p.m. Thursday peeled open the interior of a home in the Cottonwood Trailer Park and uniformly scorched its walls black. According to both police and a nearby resident, a young woman and her baby exited the home and appeared unharmed.

Officials with the Bingham Sheriff's Office said Red Cross and disaster services aided the woman and child.
